College of Arts and Sciences Pre-Health Information Session: The College of Arts and Sciences Pre-Health Information Sessions include: time to meet with Arts and Sciences pre-health advisors to discuss an overview of healthcare programs (pre-medicine, pre-dental, pre-pharmacy, pre-optometry, pre-physical therapy, pre-physician's assistant, and pre-veterinary), curriculum, entrance exams, and tips for developing a competitive application profile.
Individual visits are 1-on-1: Families will meet with Director of Recruitment, Jacob Westover, for a brief presentation of the Gatton College of Business and Economics, followed by a walkthrough of the Gatton building. A student ambassador, if available, will lead the building tour. NOTE: Families will need to park in Parking Structure #5 (Cornerstone Garage) before proceeding to the Gatton College of Business for your visit. Families will check-in at the Executive Education Center (Room 331) inside the Gatton College.
The Gatton College Showcase: This is an all-encompassing look at UK's Gatton College of Business and Economics. Families will learn about our majors, tour our state-of-the-art facility, connect with faculty and staff, and more! It's a day packed with discovering your passion for all things business! The Showcase will begin at 9am, with check-in beginning at 8:15 a.m. Families will need to arrive at the start time and plan to stay the entirety of the event. A full itinerary will be sent closer to the date.
Women in Business Brunch: The Gatton College invites prospective high school junior and senior female students, interested in pursuing business, to our 2nd annual Women in Business Brunch. Students will have the opportunity to network with female faculty, current students, and alumni while discovering how Gatton empowers and supports females in business. Students will also learn about the Women Business Leaders program. STUDENTS MAY ONLY BRING ONE GUEST. Registration is limited, and is first-come first-serve.
Wildcat for a Night: The Wildcat's Night Out Exhibition is a premiere event created by students for students. Our Gatton Ambassadors have curated an evening where you’ll gain firsthand insights into the freshman experience within the Gatton College of Business & Economics at the University of Kentucky. Take this exclusive opportunity to engage with our accomplished faculty and current students who are enthusiastic to share the invaluable knowledge you crave before stepping foot on campus. Immerse yourself in dynamic student panels as they reveal crucial insights into navigating the critical first year. Join our esteemed college faculty for a crash course on the diverse range of degrees awaiting your pursuit. All students are welcome, but students from Kentucky are highly encouraged to register.

College of Education: Education Information Session: Join a small group of prosepctive students to learn more about our teacher certification options and other majors in the college, the admissions process, scholarships, and other resources and opportunities for a great college experience. College information sessions will take place in the UK Gatton Student Center, room 231.

College of Education Visit: You're invited to meet 1-on-1 with Director of Recruitment Jenna DeMastes to chat about life in the college, our surprising array of majors, career pathways, the admissions process, scholarships, see how our programs can help you reach your goals, and answer any questions you may have. On-campus 1-on-1 visits are located at 128 Taylor Education Building.
Our majors include: kinesiology (exercise science), health promotion, interdisciplinary disability studies, leadership for community education and human learning, elementary education, health promotion education, interdisciplinary early childhood education, kinesiology (physical education), middle level education, secondary English education, secondary social studies education, special education, and STEM education.
Engineering Information Session and Tour: The Engineering Information Session and Tour is an individual or small group meeting with an engineering recruiter to learn about the UK engineering program, scholarships, co-ops, housing, and more. A tour of the engineering complex is also included.
Engineering Grand Tour: During the Engineering Grand Tour you'll meet current engineering students and faculty, tour state-of-the-art classrooms and labs, stop by the engineering residence hall, and learn about the UK engineering program, scholarships, co-ops, and more.
Lunch with Society of Women Engineers: You are invited to lunch with the UK Society of Women Engineers (SWE) prior to the Engineering Grand Tour! Learn about what SWE has to offer while meeting new friends. Complimentary lunch is provided in Champions Kitchen. Families of the prospective student are welcome to join too!
Engineering Transfer Student Information Session and Tour: The Engineering Transfer Student Information Session and Tour is specifically for prospective transfer students. Prospective incoming freshmen should register for another engineering tour or event. The Engineering Transfer Student Information Session and Tour is an individual or small group meeting with an engineering recruiter to learn about the UK engineering program, admission process, co-ops, and more. A tour of the engineering complex is also included.

Public Policy Preview Night: Public policy is an interdisciplinary and flexible program that applies tools from economics, political science, statistics, and management to solve problems that matter to people and communities. Students develop analytical, communication, and leadership skills in their policy courses, and then apply those skills through projects, research, and internship experiences. Graduates are well-equipped for careers in all levels of government, nonprofits, government relations, advocacy, and more. The critical thinking and analytical skills emphasized in the program also make it great preparation for law or other graduate programs. During the preview night, you will hear from current students and faculty who can describe the career opportunities, internships, classes, and community that come along with a degree from the Martin School. If you are passionate about helping others and creating positive changes for yourself and the world, you may belong in public policy. We hope to meet you soon!

Empower your Visit, Classroom Exploration and Unique Tour Experience: Join us to explore our learning experiences this Fall through introductory to Social Work and Diverse Populations – SW 124 or Social Justice Foundations- SW 325 meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:30-1:45 p.m. This is your chance to connect with our students and gain valuable insights into our program. This tour will take place before or right after our 1:1 meeting with our recruiter at 1:00 p.m.
